Company history

Sevenet Sp. z o.o. was established in 1997. In June 2008, the company was transformed into a joint-stock company – Sevenet S.A. Since 8 June 2011, the company’s shares have been listed on the NewConnect Alternative Trading System.

Since its inception, Sevenet S.A.’s headquarters have been located in Gdańsk. Initially, the company rented office space on Do Studzienki Street, and then the office was moved to a city villa located at 25 Tuwima Street. Due to the dynamic development of the company and a significant increase in employment, in 2010 the Gdańsk office was moved to a modern building at 30A Galaktyczna Street in Gdańsk Osowa.

The consequence of growth and hiring experts not only in the Tri-City was the establishment of Sevenet’s first local office in Warsaw, also in 2010. In addition, the company has two offices: one in Wrocław, established in 2012, and one in Kraków, established in May 2013.

At the end of 2011, Sevenet S.A. commenced the implementation of a significant project, establishing a subsidiary special purpose vehicle, Seventica Sp. z o.o. The company provides a Non-Verbal Communication System enabling smooth communication for deaf people in public administration institutions.

In 2017, Sevenet S.A. acquired its subsidiary Seventica Sp. z o.o. Since then, Sevenet S.A., having taken over all the rights and obligations of Seventica sp. z o.o., has offered a service called ‘Barrier-free communication’. In January 2022, after many years of providing communication support to deaf people and foreigners, a very difficult decision was made to discontinue the service for economic reasons.
